Just to make you smile . . .

Today's post is just to make you smile. If Tate's sweet little face doesn't make you feel better today then nothing will! He is such a doll baby. Not only he is cute but he has the sweetest most lovable personality. I think that it can be attributed to having wonderful loving parents like Michael Paul and Kimmy. They are a great family and so much fun to work with!

A Special Bond

I can't believe that the ten year old boy I met so many years ago is now a man with a son of his own. Where does time go? It seems like only yesterday that Cody's mom and I worked together. He was just a boy swinging on the swings and sliding down the slide. Now a father. It will only be a few years until Cody is watching his son swing on swings and slide down slides. I am so proud of Cody. He is such a wonderful dad. I feel honored to have been able to capture these brief moments between a father and a son for one of my best friends. Beth, I know that you are so proud of Cody and Courtney! Leyton is absolutely perfect!

Outdoor Family Sessions

The dates for the Outdoor Family Sessions will be Friday, October 5th, Saturday, October 6th and Sunday, October 7th. On Friday and Saturday, appointments will begin at 9:00 AM and on Sunday, appointments will begin at 1:30. Session fee for these sessions is $25. Sessions are 30 minutes each.

Please email me at info@iveysphotography to schedule your session. In your email, please give me a few different times that would work for you. The morning sessions go very quickly (most likely by the end of the day) so please take that into account.

Barrett and his Cousins

I just absolutely LOVE 6 month old babies. They smile constantly and when they are not smiling they have the cutest little expressions. Barrett was no exception. He was a doll! Just look at those rolls. Don't they make you want to just squeeze him?

Julie, Barrett's mom, asked if I minded doing some of the cousins so I said sure. When 5 children come into any studio, the photographer is going to start sweating. That is a bunch of smiles to get at one time! This set of cousins were great!!!!! They were so cooperative and easy to work with. Thanks guys!

Seniors

Time for senior pictures once again! Clay is a senior from 2007. He was an absolute joy to work with and I enjoyed my morning with him so much. I have been thinking of him and all of the seniors I met last year. I hope that college life is going well for them! Miss Linda (Clay's mom), I hope you are surviving too! I know that you are missing him.

Clay made fantastic clothing choices for his session. It is fun to bring trendy things but also remember to bring some of the more classic styles. Solids are great! I always suggest a black shirt. White shirts are good also. Jackets work well for layering!

Expecting . . .

It was a joy to be able to capture the excitement of this family as they anxiously await the arrival of the newest member of their family. Danielle and Robby are wonderful parents and Noah will be a terrific big brother! We hope to meet the new member of the family soon.

It's so much FUN to be ONE!

I think that you will agree that Ally is having FUN being ONE! Mike and I love a good cake session (mess and all, we promise). It seems like we have had a bunch of cuties turning one the past few weeks. They really have a good time making a huge mess and tasting a little sweetness! The images from these sessions make the cutest birthday invitations!

Holiday Information & Scheduling

Just want to remind you to check out the holiday information that I have posted on the side of the blog. The cut off dates for sessions and ordering for Christmas is listed. Also are the dates that we will be closed for Thanksgiving and Christmas.

At this time, I am planning one weekend in October (date unknown) for Outdoor Family Sessions. I am also planning to do Christmas Sessions the first three weekends in November. I am unsure of Halloween Sessions at this time. If I do them, they will be held during the week at night. As soon as I have worked out specific dates and times for each of these sessions I will post the details and I can begin booking then. Thanks so much for all the inquiries. Keep checking back for the specifics!

We will be offering Christmas Cards again this year similar to those offered last year. There will be new designs. These cards were a big hit last year!

During this holiday season, the weekends mentioned above will be the only ones available. We will be available for sessions on weeknights.

Meet Mildred Louise

And her parents, Jessica and Casey! Mike and I enjoyed our session with this sweet little family even though it was a little hot! Jessica is full of spunk and Casey and Millie are happy to go along with anything she wants (even if it means wearing a polka dot bow)! What more could a girl want out of life - a cute dog and a sweet husband?! Lucky girl!

That Cute Baby

I am sure that you all are wondering who on earth that cute baby across the top of my banner is. Well here he is . . . Cooper Thomas. He was such a trooper at his session. Awake when we needed him to be awake and asleep when we needed him to be asleep. We couldn't have asked for anything more!

Kerianne Again

I just had to post these images of Kerianne from her newborn session and then again from her six month session. Oh so precious! It is truly a joy to have had the opportunity to share in Kerianne's first year. Thanks so much!

Miss Kerianne has the most infectious smile! We cannot not help but smile too during her sessions. We are sure you will see why! Mike and I have enjoyed capturing Kerianne's first year for her family. We could have gone on and on showing her off but we will hold it to just these two!
